3D Art
Blender renders. Started in 2023 with the donut tutorial like everyone else. Kept going.
Newest work at the top. I'll add to this as I go.
Current
Starting to explore more complex scenes and lighting. Picking up photorealism techniques from a Polygon course.
Ramen shop - Grunge textures for metal in a cyberpunk ramen shop.

Ruins - Lighting and arrays over a path (to create the palms)

Roman house, similar shape re-use. Learning about the freestyle pencil post-rendering technique.

Lots of shape reused, with some twists and turns in local geometry to create this forest road scene. Also mapped the roughness of the road to a texture, and "painted" the water on.

Sushi - basic shapes + arrays.

2024
"Product render" - Headphones.

May 2023
Getting more ambitious. Stylized environments, outdoor scenes, starting to find a vibe.

April 2023
Where it started. Donut tutorial, random objects, first real scenes. Some tutorials, some understanding about different rendering techniques. A fondness of the diorama style.

Donut
Blender Guru's quintessential Donut tutorial. A great starting place for anyone learning 3D modeling.
